It is the best-known wadi of the Sharqiyah region. Its stream maintains a constant flow of water throughout the year. Wahiba Sands is a desert region named for the Bani Wahiba tribe. The area covers 12,500 square kms (4,800 sq miles).
Itinerary
- Depart in the morning by 4WD via Fanjah & through Sumail Gap.
- The tour moves to Wadi Bani Khalid, a picturesque mountain village, renowned for its wadis and rocky canyons, complete with massive boulders and cliffs.
